The Lighthouse (2019)

dir. Robert Eggers. What experience watching this, much funnier than I expected. Willem Dafoe looks like Orson Welles in CHIMES AT MIDNIGHT (1965). Robert Pattinson is working very hard, but can’t keep up with Dafoe, also his accent is all over place to my ear. The sound design is amazing. You need to see this in a cinema to appreciate the feeling of being surrounded by a storm, and the boom of the foghorn.
